Technology is at once the lifeblood and kryptonite of the human race, veering dangerously close to becoming its own end. Increasingly frequently, technology is being accepted over thinking, often with the excuse of personal or national panic This is an axiom steeped in the day to day final rehearsal that is real life. It is not social commentary. As the ranks of the wayward begin to include our family and friends, our own role in the fight to counter “Technology as a God” and ferment social revolution is sealed. To graph the growth of this disease would should an exponential function, recursing quickly across humanity’s thoughtspace. In this fashion we can easily say that the voyeurs themselves have “gone viral”. It is important to stop here and consider exactly what is being said. At the least, for the sake of understanding. Only the foolish would attack technology itself, for two primary motivations. 1. Technology is defenseless. 2. Technology is made in the image of man. To take up arms against the defenseless is pure cowardice with a touch of sadism. In fact, technology needs THOUGHTFUL care and attention. Seen as mirrors of ourselves, raging against the machines is suicide. Our struggle is not build of cowardice or suicide, so let it be clear: machine-haters we are not.
Technology as Figurehead
The voyeur, once tricked, sees technology as a reason unto itself, and once transcended, enters an INFORMATION NIRVANA. There are many ways to attain this nirvana, all of which require the dissolution of self and relinquishing of control, and each voyeur sect has its own methods. The Pontiffs who have blind faith and serve as leaders in the voyeur temple. Political commentary is their proclamation. The Nihilists who have hatred for both independent thought and themselves. The Cynics who disdain the Truth. The Confused who never took the chance to think about the world around them. The Total Voyeurs who have actually transcended the realm of man and become fused with machines, which are so closely tied to their day to day that they can be seen as one and the same. Of course, these designations are constructed purely for illustration, and the voyeurs themselves may adhere to one or many philosophies. Incapable or reluctant to direct their own thoughts, voyeurs lose what makes them individuals, which is the crucial existential problem with their movement. Please, voyeurs, hear me. If you truly desire to be controlled from without, we have the society and culture for you already, independent of your information nirvana. Your rejection of control makes corralling your thoughts and actions that much easier for those who seek to reduce society to controlled automatons.

The creation of ReduxMatters is a self conscious act of reclaiming the once great high ground of independent thinking. We want this reclamation to be a cultural revolution. This process has two main stages. In the first stage, we must find and motivate to action those who are repulsed by this movement and want to stop it. In the second, we must use these volunteers to attack the voyeur disease itself. No violence. Machines will not be set ablaze, these are political changes. The battle is for the liberation of the voyeurs from their perverse Messiah’s pleasure, a social change. We greet all who choose to unite with us.
